What to Have Ready When You Call GudenkaufUnderground
A few details up front make it much easier to plan the right approach for your job:
- Job location: the address or nearest road, and whether it is a yard, field, driveway or road crossing.
- What is going in the ground: electrical conduit, fiber optic, water line, culvert pipe or drainage tile.
- Distance and size: an approximate length of the run and the pipe or conduit diameter (bores up to 15 in.).
- Obstacles: driveways, sidewalks, trees, landscaping or other utilities you already know about.
- Septic work: tank size if known, the last time it was pumped, and any symptoms like slow drains or wet spots.
- Timing: deadlines from your electrician, internet provider, builder or inspector.
